MonixArts is a London based dance company. They use contemporary dance to explore ‘human relationships and issues in current society. Working with how the human body moves in space, [they] combine contemporary dance with martial arts and everyday movement’. Their work is meaningful and insightful. Using dance to highlight the many facets of humanity, their productions are not to be missed.
The artistic works of MonixArts has been described by reviewers as ‘energetic and striking’, ‘personal and intimate’ and ‘innovative’.
While in London, Wilson and Lewis Photography had the privilege of working with MonixArts on a variety of their projects. MonixArts was founded and is run by the incredibly talented Monica Nicolaides. MonixArts uses dance to tell remarkable stories with profound meaning and spectacular displays of human movement.
