Romantic Nostalgia – Autumn Wedding Inspiration

Autumn Wedding Inspiration

This autumnal wedding photoshoot embraces romantic nostalgia. Built in 1863, Old Woodhouse Manor, is a hidden gem of the Adelaide Hills which perfectly suited to a vintage themed autumn wedding.

We were lucky enough to collaborate with some of Adelaide’s best wedding vendors on this inspirational styled wedding. Together we enjoyed the crisp autumn air, wandered through pine forests and frolicked with coloured smoke to create these dreamy wedding photos filled with colour and romance.

Autumn wedding photography in the Adelaide Hills

Pine forests and centuries old magnolia trees are striking features on the grounds of Woodhouse. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding autumn foliage, Christine from Blooming Bridal – in our opinion one of the best Adelaide wedding florists - worked her magic to produce a stunning autumn bridal bouquet and impressive floral plinths in place of an arbour.

It's all about the details.

As wedding photographers we love the small and delicate details!

Mimi-Jane Millinery provided a glamourous twist to this autumn wedding photoshoot with intricate handmade headpieces. They perfectly compliment the exquisite gowns from Audrey Austen Bridal. The furniture, props, and styling was provided by Adelaide’s expert vintage wedding stylist, Jaime from Fox and Hound Events.

Sharon from Magnolia Press and Tash from The Sweet Tooth Factory perfectly matched the envelope paper to the edible paper that decorates the multi-tiered wedding cake. When great Adelaide wedding vendors work together, amazing things happen!

Adelaide's amazing wedding vendors

Wedding photographers love collaborating on styled shoots because it gives us the opportunity to work with some of the most inspiring vendors on the Adelaide wedding scene.

Not only are these vendors incredibly talented, they are also wonderful people and a joy to be around. There is no better bunch of people to hang around with on a chilly autumn morning.
